I’ve always enjoyed fixed blade hunters, however made very few and all have stayed in my personal collection, and one of the first I made that I was happy with, I have kept personally, and carried since. That was 3-4 years ago. I was always happy with the design, in the hand, but the handle to blade ratio was just not right. The handle was huge for the 3.6″ blade.
Now years later, I decided give a shot at redesigning the handle, so it was still equally ergonomic, comfortable, and a pleasure to use, but didn’t have the oversized handle. After many, many prototype handles. I got what I wanted, and here it is!
This is a full tang hidden fixed blade. So the handle extends all the way to the end of the handle, but is hidden just inside the handle, so you don’t have the steel in contact with your skin. It makes for a very clean look, that I just love. Hopefully you do as well!
Blade length from tip of blade to Tip of handle is 3.61″ (91.7mm)
Overall length is 7.75″ (196.85mm)
Weight with sheath, and Tek-lok clip is 5.9 oz (170grams)
Features a polished stonewashed CPM-3v blade
Natural Micarta handle, and Red G10 accents.
Kydex sheath, with Tek-Lok belt attachment clip.
