 Southard Performance Series Tolk with limited edition pattern engraving on the titanium handles.

Patterns and textures are everywhere in the nature, and engineering.  In a desire to explore some textures, and patterns, Ive begun to use the Tolks as a blank canvas.  The patterned knives are limited.

Smoked Gold anodized (Gray blue, over a dark gold Anodizing)

Smooth lines, and comfort in hand define the Southard Performance Series Tolk.  Its large 3.87″ blade may seem daunting, but the lightweight titanium handle, and thin construction, give this knife huge performance, but in a package, that feels smaller in the pocket than it really is.

The Tolk sports a two-tone Satin/stonewash blade, made from CTS-XHP steel.  With super fine jimping and checkering on the blades spine, and flipper tab.  The knife has great traction, but without being overly harsh.  Opening methods include Carson flipper, or thumbstuds.  The knife rides on a stainless steel ball bearing pivot, with a ceramic detent ball.  The combo gives a glass smooth opening experience, with no play in any direction at all.

The titanium handles, and pocket clip have a shotpeen beadblast finish.  A wonderfully refined feel and look, has a bit up a luster without being reflective.  Silver titanium thumbstuds, standoffs, and lock bar stabilizer give a wonderful accent to the gray blasted handle.
